In the main match of the first playing day of the new year, Nikita Nesterov returned to service. In the third link in the attack on the right, Mingachev came out instead of Sorkin, and Fedotov replaced Reideborn at the goal.
The hosts spent the opening minutes of the match better. The first dangerous moment was created by Andronov, but the goalkeeper reflected his throw.
In the third minute, the army team were in the minority. But the competent actions of the red-blue in defense did not allow the opponent to create real threats to the goal.
Then CSKA earned the majority. Our team several times threw dangerous hawks at the goal, but Grubets was on the spot.
In the second half of the first period, the puck, after Svetlakov's throw, missed the bar a little. Soon after that, Okulov broke through to the goal, but the goalkeeper saved his team.
In the 13th minute, the red and blue were in the minority due to the violation of the numerical strength.
And soon Sergei Tolchinsky opened an account.
The ending of the twenty minutes passed at a fast pace - there were no stops in the game for more than five minutes. CSKA dominated, but the guests were able to fight back.
The beginning of the second period was left for CSKA. The owners earned the majority. We acted actively in a foreign zone, but the puck stubbornly did not go into the goal.
Avangard in such a situation relied on counterattacks. In one of them Fedotov saved the team after Gritsyuk's throw. But the team of Sergei Fedorov did not slow down in the attack. And already the bar saved the guests from the inevitable goal. However, in the 27th minute, the puck still crossed the Omsk goal line. Lucas Wallmark (1: 1) scored an accurate hit on his own account, having realized the majority.
After the scored puck in equal compositions, a dynamic game went from gate to gate. After the ricochet, Fedotov repelled the cunning throw. And soon Grubets rescued the "hawks" after Okulov's shot from close range.
In the 38th minute, CSKA converted the majority for the second time in the match. Wallmark on the left gave a pass to Nordström, Juakim made a pass to the center to Plotnikov and the striker shot the Avangard goal, leading his club forward - 2: 1. Thus, # 14 is gaining points in the fourth match in a row.

Just 13 seconds after taking the lead, the army team doubled the lead. This time, the author of the goal was Alexander Popov, who scored with the help of Mingachev (3: 1).
In the opening of the third game segment, Plotnikov had a good chance, but the striker was a little let down by inaccuracy. Throughout the beginning of the period, CSKA dominated the foreign zone. And only the selfless play of the opponent did not allow to score the fourth puck.
On the 46th minute, after sending off, the team played for two minutes in a 4 by 4. During this period Andronov had a lethal moment, but Grubets saved the “hawks”.
And already when playing in equal compositions, Nesterov fired powerfully from a distance. The goalkeeper was there.
Then the red and blue had to overcome a serious test. First, Svetlakov was sent off, and then, after Provolnev's penalty, the army team played 3 on 5.
Seven minutes before the end of regular time, Oliver Kaski converted the majority and reduced the gap in the score of Omsk to the minimum - 3: 2.
1.35 minutes before the siren, Grubets rolled onto the bench, and the guests released the sixth fielder. And the army team's coaching staff took a timeout at the last minute. At the very end, Abramov struck an empty net, but after watching the video, the referees found out that the puck was in the goal after the regular time of the match had expired. The fourth CSKA goal was not counted, but this did not prevent the team from winning 3: 2 and taking revenge from Avangard for the defeat in the first match of the season.
