CSKA and Traktor met for the second time this season. The coaching staff of our team has again left unchanged the squad that has won in four matches.
The game started with two quick goals. Traktor actively went ahead in the first minutes, but CSKA opened the scoring. In the fourth minute, Vladislav Kamenev showed that he would throw, and he gave a pass to Vladislav Provolnev, who drove around the gate and passed the puck to Ivan Drozdov. He played well from the goalmouth – 1-0. Tractor attacked dangerously several times, Ivan Prosvetov played reliably, but could not cope with one throw. Artyom Blazhievsky was not covered in our zone, and the defender's throw turned out to be both strong and accurate. After that, the teams could not score for a long time, although they did not sit out defensively, dangerous moments arose. In the second period, the most disturbing episode happened when CSKA players were left with three against five. But our penalty killing brigades have coped with this problem.
In the third period, CSKA took the lead again. Vladislav Kamenev threw a long shot, and Maxim Sorkin adjusted the trajectory of the puck in front of the goal. But the Chelyabinsk team won back in the next shift, and after that our team's game stopped working. The hosts had the advantage, scored three goals, and CSKA could not respond to this. The winning streak was interrupted.
