CSKA started today's game against Barys very well and could score in the beginning but Andrey Loktionov hit the post. At 07:58 CSKA got another chance: Konstantin Okulov assisted Maxim Mamin who opened the score. Three minutes later Canadian forward Brendan Leipsic, who was playing for CSKA for the first time, assisted Andrey Svetlakov - 2:0. CSKA was clearly better, but Barys was able to respond and score one goal.
CSKA's third and last goal was scored in the second period by Anton Slepyshev in a power play. After that CSKA was in control and didn't give his opponents chances to come back.
