CSKA and HC Sochi traded Alexander Gubanov to the Army Club for Anton Malyshev.
Malyshev joined "Zvezda" in November last year after a deal with Dynamo St. Petersburg. During his journey as an Army club, he had 16 points in 27 games in the regular VHL championship and seven in the Russian Champions Cup (5 goals, 11 assists).
The 19-year-old Gubanov had a debut in the Youth Hockey League with Kapitan Stupino in the 2022-23 season, and where he had 107 games (8 goals, 21 assists). He skated his debut game in the KHL with Sochi in one game against Kunlun Red Star in the 2024-25 season.
CSKA thanks Malyshev for the game and wishes him success in his future career, and welcomes Gubanov to the army club.
