Takhir Mingachev about the Russian Olympics Committee team's start at the Games: we coped with the pressure — the beasts.

The 20-year-old forward of our team told us about his return to training with the main team, his reporter career and the first game of the Russian Olympics Committee team at the Olympics.

Takhir, after playing for Zvezda and CSKA (‘Krasnyaya Armia’), you returned to the main team. How was your training session?

— Great feelings and positive emotions. We had a good, intense workout before the weekend, so everything is great.

After a long break CSKA will play a test game with Siberia on Saturday. How much do you miss competing against a KHL team?

— There's a break in the KHL right now. As far as I know, they don't have a lot of young players on the roster, so they probably trained the whole time to full strength.

— I played a lot during that period and I think it makes it a little easier for me to get into the game than the rest of the adults.

— In January, you managed to play in both Kontinental Hockey League, the Supreme Hockey League, and the Junior Hockey League. How did you handle all that?

— That's my profession. There's nothing wrong with that. Just different levels and it was felt a lot. I tried to adjust and play my hockey and be useful for each of the teams I played for.

— After CSKA's victory over Almaz on January 28, you even interviewed Kirill Samsonov. Are you already thinking about a career as a reporter?

— Let's see how my career will be (smiling). We`ll build on that. I liked the first experience. The club press service has told me everything very well. I watched it many times, I think it was great.

— Did you have a chance to watch the first game of the Russian Olympics Committee team at the Olympics?

— I did. The guys played great. 1:0 is a difficult game for everyone, but we coped with the pressure, so - the beasts.

— Do you watch the Olympic broadcasts of other sports?

— I train and play, so I don`t watch sports that often. In my free time, I try to spend most of the time for recovering. But I follow the Russian athletes. Russia, go ahead!
