The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the Gagarin Cup Finals in four categories.

- Best goalie for the fifth time in his career in the playoffs was Vasily Koshechkin (Metallurg), who won three games of seven against CSKA. The veteran netminder faced 212 shots, posting a 93.4% saves percentage and a goals-against average of 1.98. Koshechkin posted two shutouts, and his shutout series (156 minutes and 34 seconds) set a new Gagarin Cup Finals’ record.

- Best defenseman for the second time in his career in the playoffs was Nikita Nesterov (CSKA), who scored 4 (1+3) points in seven games. Nesterov only once posted a negative rating, ending the series with a plus-4 differential. He also recorded nine hits and blocked eight shots. The CSKA defenseman posted an average time on ice of 24 minutes and 57 seconds.
