CSKA played bandy match

CSKA players had an outdoor training session in Krasnogorsk.

During the KHL season break caused by the next stage of the Eurotour in Sweden, as custom has it CSKA hockey players had a training session at the Zorkiy stadium and played Russian hockey. In a friendly match, the CSKA team took over the white-blacks with a score of 13:12.

Dmitry Yushkevich, CSKA head coach:

- It's great to go out on the ice in the open air, skate on the ice, play, as they say, "for fun", pleasure. What we had to do is to show the extent, and we had no choice in this situation – we had to skate a lot. The weather is cool: it was snowy, but they started playing, and it stopped being snowy. It was great.

In fact, we were all kids, we were children, we started with such play fields. Russian hockey is very popular in the world. For Canadians, this is some kind of experience. Matt Robinson has been going through a similar training process with us for the fourth year now. It was great.

Is it harder to play the ball than the puck? A few years ago, the coaching staff and us also skated with the team, as there were not many people, most of the guys went to the Olympic team. I can say that there are certain inconveniences.
