CSKA goalkeeper Dmitry Gamzin played the first dry match in the current KHL championship in Khabarovsk against Amur (3-0).
He has two wins in three matches for CSKA in the 2024/25 season.
– The first period was quite busy, a lot of shots, – commentedGamzin. – But everyone was still fresh, so it was easier for me than if it was the ending.
In the third period, the opponent also attacked, but there were no worries, the guys played well there. I was calm enough. There were some moments, but, fortunately, nothing really hard.
Physically, in the second match at the Far East, the guys obviously looked better. Before that, we flew to Vladivostok, slept for two hours and went to the game, and in Khabarovsk we had two recovery days, we could rest.
I am happy with my performance, although I could have played better in some moments. But, as a whole, what is there to complain about? A shutout game, a victory.
