After an unexpected home loss against Torpedo CSKA wanted to strike back immediately. Dinamo Minsk, though playing without some leaders, holds Top-5 spot in Western Conference, so that CSKA shouldn't underestimate this opponent.
In the first period Goldobin and Mamin had good chances to score, but it was captain Sergei Andronov who found the net changing direction of the puck after Mikhail Naumenkov's shot. On 31:14 Naumenkov scored himself, giving his team 2:0 advantage. Dinamo answered with a shorthanded goal - Sharangovich score with a backhand shot. But CSKA wasn't dissapointed - in the same power play Maxim Shalunov scored.
Early in the third period Nikolai Goldobin rebounded after Slepyshev's shot and scored in the empty net. After this CSKA was in control and didn't give Dinamp any chances. One second before the final Mario Kempe scored the last goal of the game.
